It all started out with a bang...Slade was sick for the first time, although he was still good as gold. It did snow a couple of inches in E-town, so he was able to experience that for the first time. He was still sick but Grami insisted that she take him outside for some photo opps and I'm SO happy she did. We have some great pics (although his outfit was HORRIBLE)! This is Brian's favorite (above)!
He met tons of new people and thankfully took it all in stride. Being the great parent's we are...we don't have pictures of any of it! We do however have pics of Christmas morning which was great fun! Slade below, cute as can be in his snowman PJ's, was excited about Santa but simply wished for food!
After breakfast he opened some gifts, but really just wanted to eat the paper. He loved the toys and books from Grami but can't wait to start calling her on his very own phone! After we opened our gifts, he and Papaw read up on chickens!
His Aunt Sami and Tim came out to celebrate Christmas morning (in their PJ's...keeping with the spirit)!
Later that afternoon, everyone came out for the traditional Christmas extravaganza (courtesy of Mom)! As always, it was crazy fun that lasted for hours. Slade's cousins, Kayla, Reed, Cole and Lauren below (Allison came out later).
We had a very Merry Christmas, one full of fun with this awesome little boy...the best and most precious gift of all!
