I've always heard that each stage a child goes through gets more fun along the way...and boy is that true! Slade's ninth month has been an absolute blast! He is SO much fun and is really developing a personality. He laughs at everything...even cackles at times! It's just amazing and we're so blessed to have him in our lives. Every day is a new adventure and I'm just so thankful for each and every moment!February and March have been interesting months here in Georgia...I've often felt like I was back home in Kentucky. One day it's 70 and sunny and the next, it's 30 and freezing! The picture above was taken on a cold Sunday as we were headed to church. Slade is wearing this adorable camo flapper hat that was passed down from his cousin Reed. It's the cutest thing ever!

I'm 9 months old today! This pic was taken on February 22nd, Turkey Monsters's 9 month birthday! He's in one of his favorite places, his highchair, chewing on his favorite spoon! It's makes me sad that he is growing up so fast. I can't believe he is approaching his first birthday.
Below, Slade in another favorite place...the bathtub sporting his curly mohawk! He's also found that he loves sleeping on his tummy. He greets us like this every morning now!
I've already mentioned that Slade loves his bath! Here's proof! From an early age he's been a kicking and splashing machine. Now that he's getting bigger, Brian and I end up taking a bath with him practically. We're soaking wet by the time he finishes his bath most nights. We'll be upgrading him soon to the master tub that is fortunately bigger and deeper! Enjoy the video! No worries about the washcloth at the end...that's another fun game Slade enjoys playing with his Dad!
Yes, that is snow you see...in Georgia! For the first time in 10 years, it snowed about 4 inches one Sunday afternoon! The flakes were huge and it came down for hours. Slade loved watching it fall...his second time seeing snow in his 9 months! As you can see, HE's even wondering why it's snowing in Georgia!
As quickly as the snow came it went. We had an awesome 70 degree Saturday, so Slade and I ventured up the park in our neighborhood! Typical Slade, he wasn't all that amused with the swing nor the slide. He enjoyed watching the cars go by more than anything! I did manage to snap a few good pics though. Can't believe how big he looks!

The awesome weather continues, so outside we go! Like any kid he LOVES it outside and really enjoys rides in his wagon! He's sporting his "heartbreaker" onsie that Grami sent him!
As you can see, it's been a busy and fun filled month...and we're not done yet! Grami and Papaw stop by for dinner on their way home from a bike trip and Papaw and Grandma are due for a visit. Stay tuned...lot's of spoiling coming up!
