Eights months old and loving it

When I try to think of a single word to describe Slade's eighth month the first one that comes to mind is...FUN! We are just having a blast with this kid. He is laughing all the time and just becomes more and more fun each passing day.

His Daddy making him giggle AND shining brightly...his THIRD tooth pokes out on top!

Even though he's been holding his own bottle for months now, I still think it's the cutest thing ever! Earning his keep by helping Daddy with the laundry!

Slade's first Valentine's Day was a hit! It was so much fun to let him open his Valentine's gift and TRULY be excited about it being just for him. As always, the books were his favorite but he liked the drum he helped Mommy pick out for him. Brian was out of town so there's only pics of Slade...which is what everyone cares to see anyhow. Grami bought him an adorable "Heartbreaker" onesie, but it was too cold outside for short sleeves. We'll debut it another day!

Lazybones is all I can say when it comes to Slade and crawling! He has no interest and will simply lay down when he gets tired, which is generally after about 3 seconds! Just like sitting up...I guess he'll do it when he's good and ready. I'll count my blessings in the meantime!
