Hoppy Easter!

Slade's first Easter celebration began the weekend before Easter when we attended our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt! Although Slade was too little to hunt eggs, he DID meet the Easter Bunny! He was a big boy and wasn't scared at all! It was a great time seeing neighbors and friends.













Slade wanted to get Miss Robyn an Easter Basket for taking such good care of him! She's the best nanny a little boy could ask for and Slade has so much fun with her. I just love seeing them together every day! She is part of our family...we are so blessed to have her caring for Slade every week!


Easter Bunny Grami wanted to get Slade a table and chair set for his play room! Slade helped Daddy put it together and even tried it out before heading off to bed.

Slade spent a couple a days with his Grami before Easter while Brian and I visited some friends in Iowa. This was the longest I'd ever left him...2 nights and 3 days...but I did really well and he, of course, had a great time. Although, he sure was excited to see his Dad and I Saturday! He didn't know who he wanted more and wasn't satisfied until we were in a group/family hug! It made my heart melt!

He had a great time with Grami and Papaw and enjoyed the extra attention and spoiling. Grami helped him prepare for the Easter festivities and snapped some great pics!

After shopping one afternoon, Grami and Slade stopped by Aunt Leigh's for a play date with his cousin Reed! As you can see, they had a great time together, Reed just happy NOT to be the baby for a change. These pictures are some of my favorite! Slade LOVED this little car and had Reed there to show him the ropes!

Slade was excited to wake up to his first Easter Basket Sunday morning! The Easter Bunny brought all sorts of fun toys and...best of all...Slade's first bible! We are truly blessed to have this amazing little boy and just thank God for him each day!

Our Easter celebration was full of fun with all the family! Like always, we're horrible with the pictures, but managed to snap a few of Slade hunting eggs with his Dad, playing with Aunt Samantha and cousin McKayla! It was great to celebrate with family and we were sad to say goodbye. Hard to believe that we'll be celebrating Slade's FIRST birthday when were in Kentucky next!
